Bruce Pearl returns to Knoxville Jan. 31

AUBURN -- Bruce Pearl will bring his Auburn squad back to Knoxville on Jan. 31.

Pearl's first trip back to Tennessee, where he coached from 2005-11, is among Auburn's 18-game conference slate, the SEC announced Friday.

The Tigers will play home-and-home games with Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M this season.

The SEC Tournament will be played March 11-15 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Auburn will appear on ESPN or ESPN2 four times, ESPNU four times and the SEC Network nine times.

"I would anticipate a television schedule that won't be on par with a lot of teams in the top of our league," Pearl said Thursday. "What has to happen to change that is we have to schedule up. We have. But we have to win and we have to draw and we have to travel: Win, draw and travel. Those are things that have got to take place during the course of the season."
