AUBURN -- It wasn't all good news for Auburn in Bruce Pearl's debut.

Tigers guard Tahj Shamsid-Deen suffered a dislocated shoulder after diving for a loose ball during the second half of Auburn's 83-73 win over Milwaukee on Friday night.

Shamsid-Deen, a sophomore, scored just two points in a career-low 15 minutes after injuring his right shoulder with 14:51 to go.

"He did sublex the shoulder, which means it came out and then went back," Pearl said. "He has never done it before. How tight is it? How much damage did he do to the nerve? Because when you do that sometimes you can lose feeling, you can lose strength, and he's experiencing some of those things right now.

"We're just going to have to see."

Shamsid-Deen, who started all 30 games as a true freshman last season, did so again on Friday. He had one assist and one steal.

Graduate transfer K.C. Ross-Miller would be the most likely replacement for Shamsid-Deen if he misses any time.
