Cameron Artis-Payne added to Maxwell Award watch list

AUBURN -- Tigers running back Cameron Artis-Payne was one of 11 players added to the Maxwell Award watch list, which expanded to 87 players on Wednesday.

Artis-Payne, who has 664 yards and five touchdowns on an SEC-leading 126 carries, joins teammates Nick Marshall and Sammie Coates, who were named to the Maxwell watch list during the preseason.

Semifinalists for the Maxwell Award will be announced Nov. 3 and the three finalists will be unveiled Nov. 24. The winner of the 2014 Maxwell Award will be announced as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show held on Dec. 11 and the formal presentations of the award will be made at the Maxwell Football Club Awards Gala hosted by Tropicana Hotel & Casino Atlantic City on March 13, 2015.
