Auburn center Reese Dismukes is oen fo 12 semifinalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award.

AUBURN -- Reese Dismukes is one of 12 semifinalists for the Rotary Lombardi Award as the top interior lineman or linebacker in college football.

Auburn's senior center is one of two offensive players and 10 players among the 12 semifinalists for the award, which will be presented Dec. 10, 2014, at Bayou Music Center in Houston, Texas.

The SEC and Pac-12 Conference each have four players each, followed by the Big Ten with three players, the ACC with one player.

The Rotary Lombardi Selection Committee is comprised of more than 300 members, including all past winners and finalists, all Division I head coaches and a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.

Pittsburgh defensive end Aaron Donald won the award last season.
