AUBURN -- The first of three brutal road games remaining for Auburn this season will be played in prime time.

Auburn's game at Ole Miss on Nov. 1 will kick off at either 6 p.m. CT on ESPN or 6:15 p.m. on ESPN2, the SEC announced Monday.

The game between the current No. 5 Tigers and No. 3 Rebels is under consideration along with Arkansas at No. 1 Mississippi State.

Auburn holds a 28-10 all-time lead in the series with Ole Miss, including 9-3 in Oxford. The Tigers lost to the Rebels in their last appearance at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, falling 41-20 in 2012.

First, Auburn (5-1, 2-1 SEC) is coming off an open week looking to rebound from its first loss of the season at Mississippi State as it hosts South Carolina (4-3, 2-3) at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Ole Miss travels to Baton Rouge to take on LSU on Saturday night.
