Reese Dismukes repeats as finalist for Rimington Trophy
AUBURN -- Reese Dismukes is once again a finalist for the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center.
A four-year starter and two-year captain, Dismukes has made 49 career starts. He was also recently named a finalist for the Outland Trophy and accepted an invite to play at the Senior Bowl.
One of six finalists, Dismukes is one of two repeat finalists this year along with Oregon's Hroniss Grasu. The other finalists are Michigan State's Jack Allen, Georgia's David Andrews, Kansas State B.J. Finney and Boston College's Andy Gallik.
The winner of the Rimington Trophy will be presented live during the ESPNU Red Carpet Show on Dec. 11, immediately preceding the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
The winner of the Rimington Trophy is selected by determining the consensus All-American center pick from three existing All-America teams (Walter Camp Foundation, Sporting News and Football Writers Association of America).
The winner will be recognized at the Rimington Trophy Presentation at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln, Nebraska on Jan. 17, 2015.
