Reese Dismukes won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center.

AUBURN -- Reese Dismukes was recognized as a First Team All-American by the American Football Coaches Association and the Football Writers Association of America on Wednesday, the third and four such honors for the Auburn center, making him a consensus All-American.

It's the latest in a growing list of honors for Dismukes, who came up just shy of being a unanimous selection as he was named a Second-Team All-American by the Sporting News on Wednesday.

Dismukes, who won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center, was named an All-American by both the Associated Press and Walter Camp Foundation.

He is the first consensus All-American for Auburn since 2010, when Cam Newton, Nick Fairley and Lee Ziemba all were recognized as such.

A four-year starter and two-year captain, Dismukes was named First Team All-SEC by both the AP and coaches last week.

Also a finalist for the Outland Trophy, Dismukes has accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl.
