Nick Marshall, Sammie Coates, Reese Dismukes, Gabe Wright named preseason First Team All-SEC by media
HOOVER -- Nick Marshall, Sammie Coates, Reese Dismukes and Gabe Wright headline Auburn's SEC-high 13 preseason All-SEC honorees.
Auburn's quarterback, top receiver, center and defensive tackle were named First Team All-SEC by the conference's media, with Marshall (241) receiving more than twice as many total points as second-team quarterback, Dak Prescott (118) of Mississippi State.
It is the latest preseason honor for Marshall, who was named to the Maxwell Award and Davey O'Brien Award Watch Lists.
Coates has been named to the Maxwell and Biletnikoff Award Watch Lists, Dismukes was named to the Rimington Trophy, Rotary Lombardi and Outland Trophy lists and Wright was named to the Outland and Bronco Nagurski lists.
Other Auburn honorees were second-teamers C.J. Uzomah, Alex Kozan and Robenson Therezie and third-team picks Corey Grant, Chad Slade, Montravius Adams, Cassanova McKinzy and Jonathon Mincy
