Three-star fullback Chandler Cox commits to Auburn

AUBURN -- One of the top ranked fullbacks in the country is headed to the Plains.
Chandler Cox, rated the No. 2 fullback by Rivals and No. 3 by 247Sports, committed to Auburn on Saturday.
The 6-foot-1 225-pound prospect from Apopka, Florida becomes the 15th commitment to Auburn's 2015 recruiting class, which ranks No. 3 by Scout, and No. 4 by 247Sports and Rivals.
Cox, who is rated a four-star prospect by Scout and three-stars by 247Sports and Rivals, had 1,114 yards and 13 touchdowns on 175 carries and also played some quarterback last season, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Auburn loses H-back/tight end Brandon Fulse and tight end C.J. Uzomah to graduation after this season and will have Chris Laye and Gage Batten returning in 2015.
