Reese Dismukes won the Rimington Trophy as the nation's top center.

AUBURN -- Reese Dismukes was one of six finalists for the Rimington Trophy, awarded to the nation's top center, last season, so his inclusion as one of the 64 players on the award's watch list for the upcoming season is not the least bit surprising.

A captain last season, Dismukes is one of four returning starters on the Auburn offensive line. The soon to be fourth-year starter has been named to the preseason watch list for the award each of the past two years.

Dismukes has 37 career starts, including all 14 games last season.

The Spanish Fort native is one of two returning finalists for the Rimington Trophy, along with Oregon's Hroniss Grasu.

Florida State's Bryan Stork won the award last season.

The winner of the Rimington Trophy is selected by determining the consensus All-American center pick from the Walter Camp Foundation (WCF), Sporting News (SN) and Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) teams.

The winner will be recognized at the Rimington Trophy Presentation at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln, Nebraska on Saturday, January 17, 2015.
