Shoppes at EastChase ‘Go Pink!’ for breast cancer awareness

The Shoppes at EastChase will Go Pink! during the month of October in a partnership with Joy to Life, said Jeff Branch, general manager at EastChase.

The breast cancer awareness promotion has been an annual event for several years and will be easy to notice, Branch said. “Each year we try to make the event bigger and better. For the entire month, we transform the shopping center pink with pink banners on our light poles, pink flowers in our landscaping beds, pinking our fountains, and encouraging retailers to transform their storefronts pink,” he said.

Several stores, including Blackfinn Ameripub, Great American Cookie, Dillard’s and others will have special offers during the promotion, he added.

“We like to highlight participating retailers in our Go Pink! campaign that offer special deals to customers in honor of breast cancer awareness,” Branch said.

A Shop Pink Guide is available in the Guest Services office, or on their website. The guest office is located behind Ware Jewelers, next to Nails by Elizabeth. The address is also on the EastChase website.

At the end of October, Trick or Pink is the finale for the promotion, which Branch is eager to see EastChase support. It will be held on Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“Trick or Pink is a trick or treat event for kids that celebrates Halloween with a focus on breast cancer awareness. It serves as the conclusion to our Go Pink! campaign,” Branch said. “We recognize that breast cancer affects many people in our community and we have a great relationship with Joy to Life. We want to celebrate the idea of hope, strength, and survival for all those affected.”

The Shoppes at EastChase is an open-air fashion center located at Interstate 85 and Taylor Road. The Shoppes is home to more than 50 stores, including many retailers exclusive to the market, such as Banana Republic, DSW, Versona Accessories, Chico’s, Ann Taylor, Coldwater Creek and Williams-Sonoma.
