AUBURN -- Despite having Cassanova McKinzy and Kris Frost, perhaps the best returning linebacker duo in the SEC, back for their senior seasons, Will Muschamp doesn't feel as though there's separation among Auburn's top four linebackers.

"Right now there is not a starter at linebacker for us," Muschamp said. "All three of those guys (McKinzy, Frost and Tre' Williams) showed the capability to start at linebacker here at Auburn and I'll throw in there Justin Garrett from the standpoint of a guy that had a tremendous six days and had an unfortunate situation with his ankle. … He really did some nice things."

McKinzy and Frost, who both started 12 of 13 games last season and appeared in the other, played exclusively with the first-team during A-Day, registering three and two tackles, respectively, with Williams adding two as well while Garrett (high ankle sprain) was held out.

Last season McKinzy had 91 tackles, with 11 for loss, with an interception, forced fumble and fumble recovery and is ranked the No. 3 inside linebacker in the 2016 draft class by NFLDraftScout.com. Frost had 87 tackles, with 10 for loss including 3 1/2 sacks, an interception and three forced fumbles last season and is ranked the No. 14 outside linebacker for 2016 by NFLDraftScout.com.

JaViere Mitchell, Cameron Toney, DeShaun Davis and Kenny Flowers are next on the depth chart and all played on A-Day, but Muschamp wants to see more.

"We've got four guys here on campus that I feel very comfortable with," Muschamp said. "We need to get better after that."
