AUBURN -- A-Day rosters will likely be along the lines of last year's model of first-team versus second team, with the offense on one sideline and the defense on the other.

"We're a little banged up," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said, "but it will be similar to last year and the year before."

Malzahn wants to see how healthy the Tigers are before deciding on how the team, and the quarterbacks, will be split up next week.

Two years ago Kiehl Frazier and Jonathan Wallace each got their chance with the first and second team offenses, while last year Nick Marshall led the first team and Jeremy Johnson handled the second team.

Malzahn said "all" of the team's quarterbacks will play on A-Day.

"We're playing in front of a big crowd," he said. "We want to make it worth our fans' time. And at the same time, from a coaches' standpoint, we want to see how our guys perform in front of a crowd."
