AUBURN -- D'haquille Williams has not practiced all week and may not play in the Outback Bowl.

Auburn's leading wide receiver has been out due to an undisclosed ailment.

"He has not practiced," Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said. "He was sick and he's got some treatment things to do from the last game."

Less than two weeks to the Jan. 1 game with No. 19 Wisconsin, Malzahn is unable to say if Williams will even be in Tampa.

"Not at this point," Malzahn said.

Williams, who has 45 receptions for 703 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games, is still weighing whether to return for his senior season or declare for the NFL Draft.

The LaPalce, Louisiana native has not made a decision on his future, though some tweets earlier this week had fans jumping to conclusions.

"I think he's trying to figure that out now," Malzahn said.

Williams has not submitted his paperwork for evaluation by the NFL Draft Advisory Board, a customary practice for draft-eligible underclassmen. Five players from each team can file paperwork and Kris Frost, Cassanova McKinzy,Avery Young and Sammie Coates, who declared for the draft on Monday, submitted from Auburn.

ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. projects Williams as a second-round pick.
