Auburn held its twelfth spring practice Tuesday.

AUBURN -- Four more players were limited in practice, including two members of the starting secondary, as Auburn opened its final week of spring practice.

Starting cornerback Josh Holsey and safety Tray Matthews were both in orange non-contact jerseys during Tuesday's practice, Auburn's twelfth of the spring, along with wide receiver Tony Stevens and linebacker Cameron Toney.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said Holsey and Matthews, who had wraps on their left and rights legs, respectively, are probable for Saturday's A-Day game.

"Got a little nagged up (in the second scrimmage)," Malzahn said. "They should be OK. We're just trying to be smart with them and get them to Saturday."

Holsey and Matthews join corner Jonathan Jones, who has not practiced due to a foot injury, on the sidelines.

Despite the growing list of injuries in the defensive backfield Malzahn feels Auburn will be able to field a full first and second-team in the secondary on A-Day.

"Yeah, I mean we're hoping so," Malzahn said. "We're planning on playing the game and letting our guys go."

Stevens was not dressed out on Tuesday and was wearing a walking boot on his left foot while using a scooter to get around the indoor facility.

Malzahn said Stevens is "doubtful" for A-Day but his injury is "nothing that will be too serious."

Toney, who is competing for backup roles at both linebacker and Buck, also did not dress due to an undisclosed injury and is questionable for the weekend.

"We're hoping that he'll be ready," Malzahn said. "I think there's a chance that he'll be able to play Saturday."
