AUBURN -- Auburn will host Oklahoma State on Jan. 30, 2016 as part of the Big XII/SEC Challenge.

The Tigers hold a 2-1 edge in the all-time series, with the Cowboys winning the last meeting as part of the 2006 South Padre Island.

Auburn lost both previous appearances in the Big XII/SEC Challenge, falling at Iowa State in 2013-14 and Texas Tech last season.

Auburn coach Bruce Pearl is 2-1 all-time in SEC challenge events and 1-2 all-time against Oklahoma State.

This year's event will feature all 10 games on Jan. 30 thanks to a bye in the SEC league schedule for the 10 participants from each conference. The four SEC teams not taking part will play each other in conference games the same day.

"The ability to showcase SEC basketball in this kind of inter-conference competition makes this a unique and exciting event for our coaches, student-athletes and fans," SEC Commissioner Mike Slive said in a statement.

Eight of the 10 games will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2 and two games will air on ESPNU, with times and network assignments to be announced later.

The full slate of games is as follows:

Oklahoma State at Auburn

Texas Tech at Arkansas

West Virginia at Florida

Georgia at Baylor

Kentucky at Kansas

Oklahoma at LSU

Ole Miss at Kansas State

Tennessee at TCU

Iowa State at Texas A&M

Vanderbilt at Texas
