AUBURN -- Reinstated safety Jermaine Whitehead has not returned to practice on defense – yet.

"Not yet," Auburn defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson said. "Nothing's changed."

Whitehead was reinstated last week following a monthlong suspension for a reported altercation with an assistant coach. He practiced on scout team last week and contributed on special teams on Saturday, including being involved in South Carolina's onside kick.

Whitehead, who did not have a tackle, was not available for interviews after the game.
